Information handled
When you visit
The website itself is a small static portfolio and does not create visitor accounts or collect form submissions. To deliver and protect the pages, our hosting provider Replit may process connection and request details such as an IP address, browser or device information, page or resource requested, response status and request timing. The website's own Python server does not write visitor IP addresses or URL query strings to its access log.
If you choose Google Analytics 4
Google Analytics 4 is optional and is not loaded unless you select “Allow analytics”. If allowed, the site sends visit and technical information to Google through its Analytics tag. This implementation disables Google advertising signals and ad personalisation. Google may receive technical request information, including your IP address, when serving or processing the Analytics tag.
If you email
The website has email links for project and privacy enquiries. Following one opens your email application; the information in a message is provided by you and is not submitted through a Media-Pal website form. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information that is not needed for your enquiry.
Why information is used
- To deliver the requested pages and help keep the site available and secure. Replit may process technical request data for hosting, routing, service operation and security.
- To respond to an email you choose to send and, where relevant, discuss a quote or requested service. This is normally necessary to respond to your request or based on our legitimate interests in handling enquiries.
- To measure site visits with Google Analytics 4 only if you have given optional analytics consent. The basis for this optional tracking is your consent. You can withdraw it at any time using “Cookie settings” in the site footer.
The website does not accept orders or payments. Etsy, Pic-Time and other linked sites are separate services; using them is subject to their own terms and privacy information.
How long information is kept
The site’s preference cookie lasts for up to 180 days. GA4 cookies are configured for up to 180 days, although a browser may remove them sooner. The separate retention of Analytics event data depends on the setting in the Google Analytics property.
Enquiry messages and client records are normally deleted two years after the last email contact. Records no longer needed may be deleted sooner. Records that must be retained to meet an applicable legal obligation are kept only for as long as that obligation requires. Hosting and platform records follow Replit’s service settings and terms.
Your choices and rights
You can reject optional analytics, change your preference, or withdraw consent using the “Cookie settings” control in the footer or the cookie policy. Withdrawal stops future GA4 collection in this browser and clears the Analytics cookies set on this site. It cannot recall information already sent to Google.
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you the right to request access to, correction or deletion of personal information, restrict or object to some processing, request a portable copy, or withdraw consent. Email info@media-pal.co.uk. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
This notice may be updated if the site’s information use changes. The date at the top shows when it was last reviewed.

Links to galleries, shops and project websites take you away from Media-Pal. Media-Pal does not control how those sites collect or use information. Check their privacy and cookie notices before sharing information or placing an order there.
